Q. Can children take part in Ayu’s workshops?

A. Absolutely. We encourage parents to bring their children to share in the fun. Woodcarving, fruit decoration and painting are all ideally suited for young persons; however, any of the classes at W.S. Art Studio can be enjoyed by all. Just remember that some classes involve sharp working tools, so select classes that are appropriate for your individual child’s level of maturity.

Q. Does one need to be artistically-gifted to enjoy Ayu’s class offerings?

A. No. Ayu’s instructors tailor each class to fit the experience and the age of each participant. We want everyone to have fun learning about Balinese crafts.

Q. How can one schedule a class at W.S. Art Studio?

A. Most reservations are made a day in advance (so we can schedule the teacher and/or arrange transport) via telephone or e-mail. The studio is open seven days normally. Our telephone numbers appear on both our website and our brochures.

Q. Can we tentatively reserve a class via internet, prior to arriving in Bali?

A. Sure. Send us an e-mail with a date or dates when you think you’ll be in the Ubud area. We can send a confirmation back to you a week or two before your arrival in Bali as a reminder. If a scheduled date needs to be changed we usually only need two day’s notice.
